On-line Newsletter SolutionThis client periodically publishes a newsletter, and we transform that newsletter into a web page presentation. Older newsletters are indexed, providing the visitor with a way to see previously published newsletters. Nancy Orlando was our first Internet client in 1995, and we have since gone through several iterations of design, keeping pace with this particular client’s changing business needs: This client has followed one of the Internet’s oldest rules when it comes to generating Internet traffic. She created a set of Websites, each reflecting major areas of the business, and then linked them all together. This helps to keep the information about each area of the business very focused. Because these sites are all linked to each other, visitors to any one site always have the opportunity to navigate to the other sites. In this way a small Internet Universe has been created … something that makes the Search Engines take notice. This is NOT something that EVERY client should look to implement, however we do recommend that clients consider using this technique … but only if it makes sense and can be easily applied to the way they do business. |
